Videos to Watch

Here is an Interview and Video from Argentina.

All of the rest of these are on this site.

How to Open a Bottle
of Sparkling Wine

This footage originally aired Live on December 30th, 2005 on Denver's Channel 7 News.

It is a demonstration of the safe way to open a bottle of sparkling wine, but it is also a fun clip in general.

How NOT to Open a Bottle
of Sparkling Wine

While a great deal of fun, opening a bottle of Sparkling Wine with a sword (or in this case, a kitchen knife) can be extremely dangerous.

We are not recommending you try this yourself, we are only showing you how we accomplished it.

How to use an Ah-So to Open a Bottle
of Wine

The Ah-So is the two pronged cork extractor that seems daunting to use. As the video shows it is actually very simple and fast, at least with a little practice.

How to Decant a Bottle
of Wine

Decanting is the process of moving the wine from one container (the bottle) to another (a decanter). While some people (and some wines recommend) decanting a bottle of wine just to let it "breath" the real and most important reason to do this is to remove the sediment that builds up as a wine ages. If your wine is old enough to have some sediment in the bottom (which can be seen when you hold the bottom of the bottle up to a strong light) this is the technique for removing the sediment and serving a nice clean wine.
