Wine Quality Crusade
Exploring the high quality wines of Chile and Argentina
[Aspen, CO] -- [09/10/08] -- [WineEducation.com], the not for profit organization that since 1996 has been dedicated to promoting wine appreciation to the world, today announced a joint venture with AndesWines.com to conduct a tour of the wine regions of Chile and Argentina in order to promote the quality of these growing areas.
ÒWhen most consumers think of wines from Chile and Argentina they immediately think of low priced bargains. While this was a great way to enter into the US and European markets, this point of view has led to resistance towards the still well priced, but superior quality wines these regions have to offerÓ said Dr. Stephen Reiss, Director of Education for WineEducation.com during a recent interview.
The ÒWine Quality CrusadeÓ will be a five month hands on exploration from January through May of 2009 of some of the best wines in the world, from both Argentina and Chile. Dr. Reiss will be led by Max Morales of AndesWines.com who will ensure that the finest small producers as well as the larger concerns are well represented.
Dr. Reiss will be sharing his findings on the Internet at WineEducation.com, one of the oldest and most popular wine sites, with over 250,000 regular readers. Also, and AndesWines.com will publish the notes in their site and also will be included in the international newsletter which reaches over 75,000 including more than 180 wine journalists and another 400 members of the wine trade around the world.
